Calcium Fluoride Optics

Calcium Fluoride (CaF2) Optical Components are used as spectroscopic windows or lenses, or in cryogenically cooled thermal imaging systems. Calcium Fluoride (CaF2) Optics are ideal for a broad range of Ultraviolet (UV), Visible, or Infrared (IR) applications. Calcium Fluoride’s combination of low absorption with a high damage threshold makes it an excellent material for use with Excimer lasers. Calcium Fluoride (CaF2) features a low refractive index, removing the need for an anti-reflection coating.

Calcium Fluoride (CaF2) Beamsplitters are designed to be used at a 45° angle of incidence for broadband Infrared (IR) applications.
